Tracy Suzanne Cummings serves as a staff psychiatrist for Lindner Center of HOPE. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of children through emerging adulthood and works to integrate all aspects of mental and physical health into the treatment process.Dr. Cummings gained experience working with individuals and families coping with severe and chronic psychiatric issues at Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hospital in Toledo while completing her fellowship training. Dr. Cummings began her adult general psychiatry residency training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and she completed her training at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She also specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry during her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
A published clinician, Dr. Cummings has co-authored work on the treatment of catatonic schizophrenia and the use of biofeedback in treating anxiety and depression in children and adolescents. She has presented locally and nationally on topics on a wide range of topics, including ADHD in adults, bullying in youth, and binge eating disorder.

Deidre Berens, MS, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, is a program instructor for the Family Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nursing program at Seattle University’s College of Nursing. She also practices as a mental health nurse practitioner, providing mental health counseling and medication management for children, teens, and young adults. She earned her BA at Ohio University and her MS in nursing from Oregon Health and Science University.

HOW TO RECEIVE CREDIT
